The U.S. deficit of One Trillion Dollars
WASHINGTON – U.S. budget deficit reached more than one trillion U.S. dollars for the fiscal year in June because of increased government spending to fight recession, as official data showed on Monday (13 / 7).
In nine months of fiscal year 2009 ended September 30, the budget deficit widen 94.316 billion U.S. dollars in June to be 1.086 trillion U.S. dollars, according to the monthly department financial statements are received.
June deficit slightly better than most analysts projected 97.0 billion U.S. dollars.
Acceptance during the period of nine months to June amounted to 1.588 billion U.S. dollars, while expenditures reached 2.675 trillion U.S. dollars.
